Four years ago, our sister concept Irish 31 Pub & Eatery, hosted their very first Paddyfest St. Patrick’s Day Festival, and it has been the Biggest and Best St. Patrick’s Day party in the Bay ever since! This year, we teamed up with Irish 31 to bring the party downtown, and true to our promise, we hosted a Paddyfest Extravaganza like no other! With four days of shamrock-shakin’ shenanigans across three venues – both Irish 31 locations, and Ferg’s Live – there were a million and one ways to celebrate St. Pats. Live music from incredible local bands provided the backdrop for all of the festivities, as we hosted a Cornhole Tournament with $1,500 in Cash and Prizes, a St. Pup-Trick’s Puppy Costume Contest, a Blarney Bike Ride, a Family Fun Run, and a “Get Your Jig On” Dance Contest. We partnered up with the Tampa Bay Brew Bus, to provide a free shuttle to Irish 31 in Hyde Park Village, and back to Ferg’s Live so partygoers could party hop, and the incredibly talented ladies from the Scariff School of Irish Dance dazzled the crowds with their traditional Irish jigs. Green beer, Fireball shots from an ice luge, and Irish fare helped fuel the party, as “Woody” (aka Forrest Hoffar) took the stage and rocked until late into the evening.
Without a doubt, this was the BIGGEST AND BEST PADDYFEST to date, and we can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
Thank you to everyone that came out and partied with us! Check out these awesome photos and amazing video from Paddyfest 2015: www.paddyfest.org
May the luck o’ the Irish be with you until next year!
